The Green Theme Salon of Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory Is Coming To "Science and Technology + Industry" To Break The Problem of Carbon Neutrality

In order to promote exchanges and learning among enterprises, resource matching and empowerment, on August 4, Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory conducted a series of "Science and Technology + Industry Ark" salon activities (Phase IV) - Carbon Neutral Session. The event focused on global new energy policies, markets and trends, shared excellent cases and practical experiences, and discussed key low-carbon green technologies, next-generation combustion technology breakthroughs and industrialization development.

 

 

The event was sponsored by Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory, Dongguan Science and Technology Bureau, Songshan Lake Science and Technology Education Bureau, Dongguan Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and hosted by Dongguan Doctoral Institute of Technology Transfer Co., Songshan Lake International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community, and Songshan Lake Tian'an Cloud Valley. Many representatives of science and technology-based enterprises attended the event.

 

 

Wu Wenjian, deputy director of Dongguan Science and Technology Bureau, said in his speech that Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory is one of the first provincial laboratories in Guangdong Province with strong scientific research strength. He hoped that the enterprise representatives would learn about the advanced scientific research achievements and technologies of the laboratory through the activity, and collide with each other in the exchange of innovation points, so that the cutting-edge scientific and technological innovation could better serve Dongguan enterprises.

 

 

Guo Xueguang, deputy general manager of CKJO Environmental Technology (Dongguan) Co., Ltd, a member of the porous ceramics and composite materials team of Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory, brought a report on the industrialization results of porous media combustion technology. He introduced the porous ceramic material of silicon carbide developed by the team and the porous media combustion technology which is the first to achieve commercial application in China. The new gas efficient porous media combustion system can be widely used in many fields such as petroleum and petrochemical, steel, machinery manufacturing, non-ferrous metals, ceramics and VOCs treatment, effectively realizing low carbon energy saving and NOx pollution emission problems. In addition, Guo Xeguang also introduced the field experimental effect and economic benefit analysis of silicon carbide porous ceramic combustion technology in other fields such as: glass, plastics, etc. 

 

 

Tang Qiming, a member of the Gas Purification Materials Team of Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory and Vice General Manager of Zhongke Huizhi (Dongguan) Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. brought a report on the theme of "Gas Molecular Identification and Separation Materials and Applications". The technical products developed by the team are in the fields of organic waste gas (VOCs) treatment, low-temperature catalytic oxidation of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide capture, industrial dehumidification, and oxygen preparation. Tang Qiming introduced in detail the pain points of traditional technologies and the advanced nature of his team's technology.

 

 

Lin Yueshi, a member of the Transparent Ceramics Team of the Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory and Marketing Manager of CSC Corey Lighting (Guangdong Province) Co., Ltd. presented "Introduction to New Crystal Light Source Lighting". The new crystal light source lighting product developed by the team has four major features: ultra-high power, energy saving, long life and low glare. Its core material, fluorescent crystal, has broken through the deficiencies of traditional phosphors in terms of high temperature resistance, thermal conductivity, and light transmission rate. Lin Yueshi also introduced the importance of this technology new crystal lamp for China's carbon reduction and energy saving, as soon as possible to achieve the goal of carbon peak - carbon neutral.

Dai Guihui, the general manager of Guangdong Zhongjian Testing Technology Co., Ltd, a representative of the participating enterprises, said that the conference made him feel the importance of Dongguan government to science and technology innovation, and he was impressed by the fact that Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory has advanced equipment and attracted a large number of high-tech talents.
