Cao Dewang, Chairman of Fuyao Group, Visited Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory for Exchange and Cooperation

On 16th November, at the invitation of Academician Wang Engo, Chairman of Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory, Mr Cao Dewang, Chairman of Fuyao Group, visited the Laboratory for exchange and cooperation. Academician Wang Weihua, Director of the Laboratory, Chen Dongmin, Executive Deputy Director, Feng Ji and Huang Xuejie, Deputy Directors, Fu Chao, Chief Scientist and the relevant team leaders participated in the exchange.

Chairman Cao Dewang has entered the lithium-ion battery materials team, flexible and zinc-based battery team, precision instrument research and development team, transparent ceramics team, photonic manufacturing team, porous ceramics and composite materials team, gas purification materials team, light elements of advanced materials and devices team laboratory, in-depth understanding of the scientific research achievements of the team and the progress of industrialisation. When visiting the first industrial park of Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory in Tangxia Town in Dongguan, Chairman Cao Dewang said that the Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory has fast development speed, new operation mode, and great potential for application of the results, and hoped to establish a deep partnership with the laboratory and jointly promote the industrialisation of scientific and technological achievements.

During the visit and exchange, the chairman of the board of directors, academician Wang Engo, expressed his gratitude to Chairman Cao Dewang for his visit and guidance, and gave a detailed introduction to the background of the laboratory's construction, innovation mode, and the transfer of results, expecting Fuyao Glass Group and the porous ceramics and composites team to accelerate the application of the porous media combustion technology in the field of automotive glass production to achieve the demonstration of the industry. In the future, the laboratory and Fuyao Glass Group are expected to establish a long-term win-win mechanism in the development of application technology, industrialisation and promotion of achievements, and co-operation in running schools, so as to promote the progress of the industry and the high-quality development of the industry.
